PHA Improvement Programs is a widely defined function of our homeowners association to address issues that need improvement or to develop and pursue opportunities that will enhance our neighborhood. One example includes the addition of street sign "toppers" for the sign posts that are at street intersections which identify our neighborhood around the perimeter and at intersections within our boundaries. We also sponsored a bench on the Preston Ridge Trail paved bike and hiking path behind Brentfield Elementary School (Primary Building). This installation was provided in honor of one of our past members, Larry Yocum.
The PHA seeks to enhance the charm and appeal of our neighborhood by sponsoring development of common areas within Prestonwood. In addition to maintaining existing amenities such as our entrance flower beds, flood plains, street lamps, etc., we plan to establish places within our neighborhood that will foster casual, daily interaction between residents through features such as benches, wildflower meadows, pedestrian bridges, gazebos and other gathering places. We welcome suggestions, ideas and concerns that we can address to improve our neighborhood's appeal and value. Please contact the VP of Neighborhood Landscaping and Improvements, Michele Renault-Rutt at Mrenaultdesign@sbcglobal.net with any comments.
