Welcome to Prestonwood!
Now that the holidays are behind us, it’s time to look forward and get down to the business of 2018. Our first challenge of the year is the PID renewal. Each household has been sent a ballot and information regarding the PID renewal. If you didn’t get the information or have a question please call 972-383-1032 and leave a message. Your call will be returned promptly. Information is also available on our website www.prestonwood.net/PID .
The 2018 PID renewal presents a special challenge. Dallas County has informed the City of Dallas that they will require all ballots and documents be delivered to the City no later than February 1st, instead of the April 1st , deadline in past years. We are looking for volunteers to assist the PID Renewal Committee with collecting and organizing ballots. If you can help email at Ellen Leinoff Ennis – email@example.com
Our second big challenge of the year is finding a way to repair and maintain the screening wall around the perimeter of our Neighborhood. Several sections of the wall along Arapaho are beginning to crumble and collapse. As most of you know the screening wall is owned by the adjacent property owners and therefore is the responsibility of the property owner. This is a huge and expensive undertaking for the property owner. It is my opinion that the entire neighborhood benefits from an attractive, well maintained, screening wall. We will be starting a voluntary donation program to assist with repairs to the screening wall. Follow our progress and/or donate at www.prestonwood.net/Wall .
I look forward to seeing all of the Prestonwood Homeowners Association members at the meeting on January 17th, 2018. We will be electing new board members and voting on an updated set of by-laws.
I wish each of you a prosperous and happy new year.
